Birthday cards...

Girlfriends
Out to Lunch

And my attempt at african-american skin!  We'll leave the judging for later....

My friend Marilyn asked me to make her a couple of birthday cards to send to out-of-state friends.  I hope she like them!

The image stamp is from AI Girlfriends Series, it's called Out to Lunch.   The paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Tilda with Roses

Marilyn's favorite color is red.  So, I wanted to make one in red for her.

This image stamp is, of course, Magnolia's Tilda.  The sentiment stamp is from There She Goes.  The paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I also used one of the Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels to die cut the layer papers.

  2. Beautiful cards and your coloring is fabulous! I love the fun papers you've paired with each of them!

In answer to question on my blog, I've never had any trouble with my digi ink smearing on me when coloring with my Copics. And I'm usually printing it out and coloring right away. Both my printers (I've had an Epson and my current printer Kodak ESP C310) have been and are photo quality printers. I hope this helps and that you might try a TI Wyrn or two! :)

    1. Amy...I apologize for the long delay in responding to your comment. I have been dealing with cancer treatments this past year and it has prevented me from doing anything with my cards or blog. Thank you for such a nice compliment. Wow! I really admire your creativity and your coloring style and I follow your blog daily. Thank you for your suggestions and info regarding digi stamps. I think I just might venture into those waters very soon!
